Kale Smoothie Bowl

Never getting tired of smoothie bowls and especially not of green ones! It’s  just such a simple way to get some greens in first thing in the morning! There is not really a need for a smoothie bowl recipe because most times you can just add whatever your fridge and storage offers but I put together a simple go-to recipe in case you need some inspiration to get started with.

For one bowl mix a hand full of fresh kale with 1/2 cup pineapple, 1/2 frozen and sliced banana, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 cup almond milk and optionally 1 teaspoon of plant-based protein powder in a blender. Top with fresh fruits and seeds. Did you know that you can eat the skin of a kiwi? Knowing this definitely changed my life! Make sure you only eat the skin of organic kiwis and yeah, just get started and try it! Its weird at the beginning but makes total sense and makes me love kiwis even more.
