Wild Berry Bowl

Who says smoothie bowls are not for winter days? They are 🙂 But I prefer not to use too many frozen ingredients and instead of frozen banana which normally gives quite a thick texture, I increase the amount of coconut yoghurt I mix with the other ingredients. Avocado is also a good friend to create a creamy texture and I think it would also go with this recipe. Do you like smoothie bowls in winter?



  • 1 cup wild berries (I used frozen ones but let them defrost over night and they were a mix from raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and black and red currants)
  • 1 handful cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt
  • 1 medjool date
  • a splash coconut milk


  • fruit of your choice (I used blueberries, blackberry and banana)
  • popped amaranth
  • oats

How to make:

Just mix all ingredients in a food blender and add some more coconut milk if the texture is too thick. Top as you like.
