My grandma used to bake the best black forest cake I could think of. I love the combination of chocolate and cherries and thinking of it the other day, I decided to try and get the same taste into a smoothie. Et voila – it worked out. Such a nice and healthy dessert or breakfast! And sorry for being bit absent on the blog recently, I will try and keep posting recipes here as well and not only on Instagram. Love, Sarah x
How to make:
For the bottom layer mix 1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup almond milk, 2 tbsp oats, 1 tsp cacao powder and 1 tsp peanut butter in a blender. The white layer is vegan quark (or use yoghurt) and the top one are fresh cherries mixed with 1 tsp maple syrup and 2 tbsp coconut yoghurt.
