Red Velvet Smoothie

I was buying some beets having in mind to make some red velvet waffles or red velvet pancakes, as the weekend was super sunny and I was too lazy, this red velvet smoothie turned out, and what can I say – I’m amazed because it’s more healthy than waffles or pancakes but made me as happy.

How to make:

Mix 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 of a small pre-cooked beet, 2 tsp cacao powder, 1/4 tsp vanilla and two pitted dates. Topping from left to right: banana, goji berries, pistachios, aronia berries, dried mulberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, puffed quinoa and flower petals.
