Back to some blog action! After being absent (again) for far too long, I’m sitting now on the balcony with a tea and a long to do list of recipes I created over the last weeks and of which most of them I’ve already shared on Instagram but I always liked my blog to be the ‘home’ of my recipes. I got inspired to make Bircher Müsli from a trip I did around Easter. We stayed in an old castle in Austria and had the most amazing breakfast buffet, including some delicious Bircher Müsli. Make a big batch and keep it in the cupboard, you will thank yourself on a busy morning where you can just grab some ready made müsli! Love, Sarah x
For a big batch of mix 3 cups oats with 1/4 cup chia seeds, 1/4 cup flax seeds, 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup shredded coconut and each 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and sliced almonds
For one portion combine 1/2 cup of the Bircher mixture with 1/2 cup plant based milk and keep in the fridge over night. Add 1/2 grated apple and 2 tbsp plant based yoghurt the next morning and stir well.
