Cinnamon Pull Apart Bread with Orange Icing 💕One of my favorite recipes from my book 📖 Sharing the recipe below 👇🏻 Happy Friday and Happy Nikolaus Day for everyone celebrating 🎅🏼🎄 Love, Sarah x ~ Recipe 500g flour 1 tsp salt 75g vegan butter 300ml soy milk 1 tsp sugar 30g fresh yeast Filling 100g sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tbsp orange zest 2 tbsp olive oil Icing 100g icing sugar 40ml freshly squeezed orange juice 1 tbsp orange zest Mix the lukewarm milk with yeast and sugar and stir until the yeast dissolved. Mix the flour with the salt and vegan butter, add to the yeast-milk mixture and knead for 6 minutes. Works best with a kitchen machine. Cover the bowl and set aside for 30min at a warm place. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and orange zests. Sprinkle a working surface with some flour and roll the dough into a square shape. Brush with olive oil and spread the filling. Cut into 5 lengthwise parts, place them on top of each other, cut this into 4-5 pieces and place them into a greased loaf tin. Cover and let proof for another 20 min. Preheat the oven to 180C and bake the bread for 35 minutes. Let it cool down for 10 minutes, mix all the ingredients for the icing and sprinkle over the warm bread. Chestnut Parfait with Tipsy Cherries 🍒 Do you like chestnuts? I was never a big fan up until last year 🙏🏼 Love their taste and texture! For the parfait mix 100g precooked chestnuts with 4 soft dates, 1/2 tsp gingerbread spice and 3/4 cup plantbased yoghurt. For the cherries use frozen cherries and cook them over medium heat with some red wine and maple syrup. Add a bit of starch to thicken, stir well. Best way to sneak in veggies for breakfast - add them to your smoothie 💞 This bowl is made with one frozen and sliced banana, two small beets (I used pre-cooked beet, if you use raw beet, one should be enough), juice of 1/2 orange and 1 cup coconut yoghurt. Love, Sarah x #madewithchiquita Recipe for 20 cookies 1.5 cups oats 1.5 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp ginger Pinch of salt 1/2 cup coconut oil 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 2 bananas Optional for decoration: chocolate chunks and chopped pecan nuts Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. In a food blender mix the oil and the sugar, then add the pumpkin puree and the bananas. Blend until smooth. Add the dry ingredients and pulse until you have a smooth dough. Place in the fridge for 30 min. Preheat the oven to 375F/180C. Form 20 cookies, place them on a baking tray and sprinkle with chocolate and pecans. Bake for 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool down and prepare an icing with lemon juice and icing sugar. Sprinkle over the cookies and enjoy!
